How To Order

Trade orders

Refer to above drawing and we need first the length of body required, this must not include end fittings. We need the length of stroke, again do not include end fittings, the length of travel must allow for internal parts refer to overall minimum. We need diameter of body and shaft. We need to know what type of end fittings you require, and finally what force if known. If you have doubts about the force rate tell us the weight you want to raise or control.

Body diameter comes in five (5) sizes 0=15mm, 1=19.2mm, 2=23.3mm, 3=32mm and 4=42mm.

Shaft diameter comes in six (6) sizes 0=6mm, 1= 8mm,2=10mm.3=12mm, 4=16mm and  5=20mm.

Now available: Stainless Steel gas Struts SS Series 10mm Shaft with 25mm body diameter *47 see table below for price structure, based on a 10/25 series 270mm body length and 210 travel. Body length must be a minimum 47mm longer than required travel.

It is your choice, with 15mm body only 6mm shaft. with 19mm body either 8mm or 10mm shaft, with 23mm body either 10mm or 12mm shaft, with 32mm body either 12mm or 16mm shaft and with 42mm body 16mm or 20mm shaft.

The prices in the graph below are indicative only and based on a Gas Strut with a body length of 400mm and a stroke of 360mm. Submit your specification and expected annual usage (we need this to offer you the best possible price) and we will quote to supply by return. Call-off orders are accepted and will only be invoiced as supplied. Our prices include all standard end fittings, non-standard we require drawings.

THE FOLLOWING TABLES GIVE ALL COMBINATION OF SIZES, LENGTH OF BODY IN RELATION TO STROKE AND BODY AND SHAFT DIAMETER IN mm.
