WARRANTY STATEMENT

Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. warrants all Gas Struts marketed under their name to the original retail purchaser against defects and premature loss of gas pressure for the period stated:

Two (2) years from date of retail purchase sale or date of fitment, whichever occurs first, on all Plastic  End pieces,  Sockets, Ferrules and Clevis.

Two (2) years from date of retail purchase sale or date of fitment, whichever occurs first, on all Metal Balls, Sockets Ferrules and Clevis.

Two (2) years from date of retail purchase sale or date of fitment, non commercial application, whichever occurs first on all Gas Struts.

One (1) year from date of sale or date of fitment for commercial applications.

Two (2) years on all Chrome plated shafts from date of purchase or fitment, commercial and non-commercial.

Note: Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective Gas Strut only. Cost of removal of the defective unit and replacement of the unit are not included.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

    Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd.are dedicated to the pursuit of product excellence and the achievement of maximum consumer loyalty.

    Our Distributors are qualified to validate all Warranty claims but Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to insect all units claimed as defective.
   As a matter of policy, all warranty claims submitted will be honored, under the terms of our stated Warranty provided:
A written claim is presented with each defec tive unit to an authorized distributor or to Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd.
Information must include detail of fitting,  part number, fitting or sales date and description of defect. Copies of proof of purchase  documents.
   In addition, both the customer's and the reseller/installer's names, address and telephone numbers must be provided to allow Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. to contact claimant. This warranty does not apply to units that have been modified or improperly installed, nor to units fitted contrary to application advice.

EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY
CLAIMS ARE:

1. Severe interference between unit and other components causing noise or failure of the Gas Strut.

2. Units that were involved in an accident and show dents and/or are bent in either the body or shaft.

3. Units showing improper fitting or tightening of mountings causing wear or bending.

4. Vice jaw or "multigrip" type marks on polished sections of piston rod, causing damage to seals and leakage.

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to any warranty or right implied by the Trade Practices Act. Or any State act or regulation which warranty or right cannot by law be modified or excluded by agreement, all warranties, condition, representations, assertions and statements (whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise) which are not expressly set out in this Warranty Statement and any liability arising on the part of Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. for any breach of such warranties, conditions, representatives or statements are hereby expressly excluded by reason of (paragraph 1), subject to any contrary provision (which cannot be modified or excluded) to the Trade Practices Act, or any State act or regulation, the liability of Precision Gas Springs Pty. Ltd. shall be limited to a liability to pay to the purchaser an amount equal to the cost of replacing the units excluding, to the extent permitted by law, costs and installation of the replacement unit.
